Dr. Rebecca Schaefer
Associate Professor
Rebecca is an Associate Professor in Clinical Neuropsychology at Leiden University. Her research focuses on music-based health applications, from a perspective of clinical neuropsychology and music neuroscience. With a background in brain-computer interface research and a current focus on music-based movement rehabilitation, musical imagination, and emotion regulation, she works in highly interdisciplinary settings to harness human responses to music for health and well-being. Within Qolead she collaborates with TU Delft to develop a musical social robot for people with dementia.
