Mark is a professor in Human-Centered Computing at Delft University of Technology and a senior research scientist at TNO Perceptual and Cognitive Systems. With expertise in human-computer interaction, he leads projects enhancing social, cognitive, and affective processes, such as developing robotic assistants for patients with chronic diseases, collaborative rescue robots for disaster response, and ePartners for space exploration missions with the European Space Agency.
