Geropsychologist Debby L Gerritsen is professor of wellbeing in long-term care and chair of the UKON-network of the Dpt. of Primary and community Care and the Alzheimer Center of Radboudumc. She conducts research into improving the mental health of older people with and without dementia, at home and in care institutions. Gerritsen focusses not only on disseminating knowledge among scientists, but also on contributing to changing daily practice by supporting the implementation of this knowledge.
