Ton is a psychogeriatrician who has been appointed professor at the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences in ‘Function Preservation for the Elderly in Lifespan Perspective’ at the Center for Healthcare Innovation of Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences since 2013. Additionally, Ton is a physician in elderly care medicine, focusing on psychiatric functional disorders. As such, he is a consultant of the CCE . He also serves as the Director of the Balans Science Foundation.
