Catharine, an assistant professor at TU Delft since August 2019, earned her PhD in 2017 from KTH, Sweden. Specializing in socially aware conversational agents, her research focuses on understanding and modeling human interaction using multi-modal social signal processing. She is particularly interested in creating agents capable of engaging in human-like conversations and modeling group interactions in various social contexts.
